세계3대 표준화기구
국제표준화기구(International Organization for Standardization), 국제전기기술위원회(International Electrotechnical Commission) 및 국제전기통신연합(International Telecommunication Union)을 말한다.
이외에 산업계에 영향력이 높은 유럽과 북미 지역의 전기전자‧통신 분야 표준을 제정하는 기구로는 유럽전기통신표준기구(European Telecommunications Standards Institute), 국제전기전자기술자협회(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)를 꼽을수 있다.
